It’s wise to use sage! In medicinal lore, Sage has one of the longest histories of use of any medicinal herb and is particularly associated with brain health. It is small herb with soft, silvery, grey-green leaves. The leaves have a fresh, balsamic aroma and an herbaceous, savoury, astringent and slightly peppery flavour. The flavour remains the same when dried, and the leaves remain surprisingly soft compared to most dried herbs.
